Mariah is the Founding Partner of DiverseCity Ventures which accelerates positive social, economic, and environmental impact through entrepreneurship. She is also a member of UCLA Ventures and the Managing Director of the Founder Institute Sacramento Chapter. A frequent speaker, Mariah serves as an advisor for CalSEED CleanTech Fund, Berkeley SkyDeck, and Village Capital Finance Forward US 2019. She is an alumna of UC Berkeley, USC, and UCLA.   Philippe Goldin  Philippe Goldin is an Associate Professor at UC Davis and leads the Clinically Applied Affective Neuroscience Laboratory. His team is currently engaged in basic research on the brain networks that differentiate different types of emotion regulation strategies; clinical research on the neural bases of psychopathology; and clinical intervention research examining the brain and behavioral mechanisms of therapeutic change during Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, and Compassion Cultivation Training in adults with anxiety, depression and chronic pain disorders.  He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Asian Studies from the University of Wisconsin, Madison and a Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology at Rutgers University in New Jersey.    Presented in collaboration with: UC Davis Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Davis Postdoc Entrepreneurship and Career (DPEC) Association and with support from:  First Northern Bank UC Davis Olive Center
