UC Davis Health PACES Bronchiolitis Symposium 2019
This complimentary three-hour course is for physicians, residents, nurses, respiratory therapists and other health sciences professionals caring for pediatric patients. It will address evidence-based national and local bronchiolitis clinical guidelines. This course will be offered in-person, as well as online after the session is complete. Lunch will be provided. Course Objectives: Recognize the clinical findings associated with bronchiolitis. Plan the appropriate management of bronchiolitis. Identify parameters for high-flow nasal cannula management in the PICU, NICU, inpatient pediatric wards and the Emergency Department. Determine the indicators for appropriate use of bronchodiolators. What is PACES? Our Pediatric Acute Care Education Sessions (PACES) program is a complimentary continuing medical education peer-to-peer online course supporting clinicians who care for pediatric patients at community hospitals. The program gives clinicians the opportunity to increase their specialized knowledge in pediatric clinical guidelines.
