Playing with Fire: The Steakhouse Class

Class Overview:  Ever wonder why searing meat makes it taste better?  Know the difference between clean and dirty smoke?  Want to know why you might think smoked foods are bitter?   We will cover all of this! During this class, we will go over the preparation of some show stopper beef dishes as well as go-to sides. We will cover all the necessary steps, some tips and tricks, preparation, execution, and presentation of the items.  In this class, we will be cooking primarily on a Big Green Egg, Traeger, and a Weber Kettle, but the methodology is transferable and adaptable to all cooker types.   Class size is limited to 12 people to ensure that no one feels lost in the crowd. Class Menu:  Reverse-Seared Tomahawk Ribeye Hanger Steak with a Honey Soy Glaze  Brisket Burnt Ends Quick Pickled Onions and Jalapenos  Light Arugula Salad Honey Garlic Brussel Sprouts  What's Included: Healthy servings of all covered dishes  Recipes for all applicable items  Signature class cocktail What to Bring: An appetite for some delicious food.
