Ministry Days 2019 / Jornada Pastoral 2019 Sept 27 & Sept 28

Thursday, September 26, 2019, 3:00 PM

Ministry Days is the largest gathering of ministers, catechists and Catholic school teachers in the Diocese of Sacramento. The event is an excellent opportunity to network with others who serve our parishes and schools. Go, Make Disciples: Co-Responsibility for the Mission of the Church. More than ever our Church is in need not only of disciples but those who are able to form other disciples. By virtue of their baptism, lay people in the Church have a co-responsibility along side those who are called to holy orders to respond to the gospel mandate to make disciples. We all have a part in the mission of the Church. Just as Jesus says in Matthew 9:38, “ask the master of the harvest to send out laborers”, we call on you to help make this weekend a meaningful time to form and equip these laborers to tend to His harvest.
