Mini Seminar: Sharing Our Stories
In partnership with the Renaissance Society, the Colonial Heights Library will host two more mini-seminars the first Tuesday of April and May. The memorable stories of our lives are family heirlooms, a record of who and what we are, where we have been and where we are going is a gift to each generation. This hands-on workshop will show you the many ways to capture these stories first by sharing one and then creating a simple pamphlet, sewn book, scrapbook, or collage to preserve them. May's topic is "How to Live Boldly: Looking at the Life of Frieda Kahlo and Diego Rivera," presented by Lawrence Fox.
