THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME AND CONSIDERATION! AND THANK YOU AGAIN FOR SUPPORTING OUR EFFORTS TO TEACH KIDS IN SACRAMENTO HOW TO PLAY GUITAR. Sac Prep Music Academy offers a unique community-based music education program in Sacramento. Four distinct, but complimentary, education modes (individual and group lessons, ensembles & organized community performances) that enable and encourage students to develop, hone and grow their repertoire. Classically trained instructors utilize song-based curriculum to inspire context and inspiration as students explore music fundamentals. Sac Prep is enhancing Sacramento area’s emerging arts education movement. WHILE MY GUITAR GENTLY WEEPS (LIVE VIDEO FOOTAGE FROM THE CREST) "We'd love to turn you on..." An orchestra featuring all-star area players from the greater Sacramento Area, along with popular local singers/musicians and top students from SPM will liberate the Beatles’ White Album from wax, and perform the album in its entirety. The Beatles’ White Album will feature Sacramento’s favorite Master of Ceremonies & entertainer/singer, Peter Petty (2018 Sammie Award Winner "Best Live Entertainer"); Kurt Spataro (Skyler’s Pool guitarist); Gabe Nelson (Cake/Bellygunner), and student Justice Nelkin, Casey Lipka (Singer/Bassist-Classical Revolution); Greg Williams and student Angelica Hays (lead guitarists). And featuring George Holden’s Liquid Light Show & Live Cinema! The Sacramento Preparatory Music Academy (SPMA) led by founder and ravenous Beatles fan Ben McClara, has painstakingly transcribed and arranged The Beatles’ White Album “In It’s Entirety,” for Rhythm section + Strings section, Woodwinds section, Brass section, Percussion, Background Choir. This concert is the major yearly fundraiser supporting the SPMA. For McClara, the staff and especially his music students learning so much about music and collaborative life skills, it’s what John Lennon and Paul McCartney meant about truth and higher consciousness when they sang “I’d love to turn you on.” Event supports Music Educational Scholarships. Sincerely,  Benjamin J. McClara Artistic Director at Sacramento Preparatory Music Academy http://www.sacprepmusic.com/
